Approved and locked RPSMK are grouped by semester. The cohort source follows the newest available RPSMK for each course in that semester.
A course that studies health system governance, healthcare organization management, policy formulation and implementation processes, stakeholder analysis, policy evaluation, and evidence-based health policy decision-making.
This course examines the application of statistical methods in health sciences, including measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability distributions, sampling distributions, parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, and correlation and regression analyses to support research and evidence-based decision-making in public health.
This course examines concepts, theories, behavioral determinants, planning, implementation, communication, advocacy, empowerment, media development, and the monitoring and evaluation of evidence-based health promotion to design and assess interventions for individuals, groups, organizations, and communities.
This course discusses epidemiological methods for analyzing the distribution and determinants of health problems, including measures of frequency and association, study designs, bias, confounding, interaction, surveillance, and interpretation of research findings as a basis for evidence-based decision-making in public health.
This course examines environmental and occupational factors affecting public health, including hazard and exposure identification, risk assessment, environmental and occupational epidemiology, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, occupational diseases, surveillance, risk control, program evaluation, and the formulation of evidence-based interventions and recommendations.
This course discusses concepts, epidemiology, determinants, disparities, programs, services, policies, strategies, and interventions in reproductive health across the life course from an evidence-based public health perspective, with attention to gender, sociocultural factors, ethics, reproductive rights, and health equity.
This course examines concepts, paradigms, approaches, designs, and stages of public health research, including problem formulation, literature review, theoretical and conceptual frameworks, hypotheses, variables, populations and samples, research instruments, data collection and analysis, research ethics, and the development of evidence-based research proposals.
This course covers the presentation, analysis, interpretation, discussion, critical evaluation, and communication of public health research findings. Students are guided to relate findings to research objectives, theories, scientific evidence, and previous studies; assess the strengths, limitations, implications, and contributions of the findings; and prepare and present research results systematically, scientifically, ethically, and communicatively.
This course discusses concepts, principles, strategies, and practices of publishing research results in public health. Students learn scientific manuscript preparation, article writing standards, publication ethics, journal selection, submission processes, peer review, and professional communication and dissemination of research findings.
This course discusses the implementation of residency activities for Master of Public Health students through the application of concepts, methods, and principles of evidence-based public health program management. Students conduct problem identification, situation analysis, program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation in partner institutions or communities by integrating epidemiological approaches, health determinants, cross-sector collaboration, and professional communication.
This course discusses concepts, principles, strategies, and practices of research findings dissemination in public health through various media and scientific communication approaches. Students are able to identify target audiences, select appropriate dissemination media, develop dissemination products such as policy briefs, scientific posters, popular articles, and digital communication materials, and design effective, ethical, and evidence-based research dissemination strategies.
Thesis is a final course in the Master of Public Health program that focuses on developing students' abilities to design, conduct, analyze, and produce scientific research in public health based on scientific principles, research ethics, and evidence-based approaches. Through thesis activities, students are able to identify public health problems, develop research methodologies, conduct data collection and analysis, formulate recommendations, and communicate research findings for the advancement of public health science and practice.
